The 8th Grade GPU Steelrivers (NYBL) represented the program and city of Pittsburgh quite well at the Hoop Group's Spring Jamfest. They suffered their only loss of the weekend in the Championship, but advanced to the Championship game in impressive fashion, winning each game by double digits. A nice showing at a prestigious tournament!  

GPU fell just short of a championship by losing in the finals to Team Takeover 64 to 61.

En route to the championship game, GPU defeated two formidable opponents.
