Hello Soccer Families:

My name is Brian Bride and I will be your player's coach this season.  I have coached U6 all the way through U12.  Previously I coached my older son from U7 to U12.  Last year I coached my son Evan's U6 team.  I completed the US Soccer E License course in 2012.  I am very passionate about soccer and follow the sport closely. 

In the U7 level we are going to work on individual ball skills.  At this stage it is more important to focus on player development.  Practice will consist of individual skill games building into "small sided" games.

Practice during the season will be on Wednesdays at 5:30 pm at Fox Ridge Park on or near the U7 field, starting September 2nd.  I would also like to have a practice on Saturday August 29th at 9am also at Fox Ridge Park.

Games are on Saturdays at Fox Ridge Park on Dartmoor starting on September 12th.  As of now there is no schedule available.  Melissa had sent out an email previously that there is a possibility of playing a Woodstock team (not sure if home or away) in addition to the other in house teams.  If the roster stays with the same amount of players (my experience has been we will get one or two more players) the kids will play the whole game because we play 6v6 (five in the field and one keeper) at U7.
