and Syracuse, under the lights, on Friday evening October 2, 2009 "

MEDFORD STARS TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS The SJGSL top-ranked U12 Medford Stars placed first in the Voorhees Memorial Day Classic Tournament. The Stars competed in the top (premier) flight and went 4-0 in the preliminary competition. The Stars defeated their opponents 8-2, 6-0, 4-2, and 3-0 to advance to the finals. The Stars then captured the championship by defeating their opponent 4-0! Way to go STARS! MEDFORD STING TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS The Medford Sting U-12 Girls Soccer team dominates and wins the U-12 Top Flight Championship at the Mount Laurel Columbus Day Soccer Tournament. They defeated Mount Laurel Lightning Boltz 4-0, Hamilton Wildcats 3-0 and Cherry Hill FC Lady Knights 3-1. Overall, the offense was on top of their game, scoring ten goals and the defense held their own with two shut outs and only let one goal into their net. |

MEDFORD FIRE U11 BOYS TAKE U-11 DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP The 31st annual Aubrey Hudson 2008 Hamilton Invitational Columbus Day Tournament took place over a 2 day period, Saturday October 11 and Sunday Oct 12th at Mercer County Park. There were over 125 participating teams from throughout the North East with age groups ranging from U-8 to U-14. Medford Fire, the U-11 Boys Travel Soccer Team won the U-11 Division Championship. |
